Rebilly news, features, and updates for November 2023

Hello, and welcome to the November edition of the Rebilly news, features, and updates blog.

New features

This month we added the following new features.

Minimum and maximum amounts for deposit requests

We added the ability to specify minimum and maximum amounts for deposit requests. For more information, see Deposit requests.

Usage notifications for metered billing plans

We added the following usage limit notifications for metered billing plans:

  • Hard usage limits: Inform customers that they have reached the usage limit of their metered billing plan, and must upgrade their plan to continue using the service.
  • Soft usage limits: Inform customers that they are approaching the hard usage limit of their metered billing plan, so that they can upgrade their plan before the hard limit is reached.

For more information, see Set usage limit notifications for metered billing.

Usage limit reached webhooks for metered billing

We added webhooks for the Soft usage limit reached, and Hard usage limit reached events. These webhooks trigger when the soft or hard usage limit thresholds for an item with a metered billing plan are reached. For information on how to set up webhooks using the Rebilly UI, see Webhooks.

Improved filters

We improved the usability of filters in the Rebilly UI by adding an Apply filter button to all segments when more than one filter is selected. For more information, see Apply a filter to data table content.

New payment gateway integrations

Integration requests

Rebilly supports over 200 payment gateways and more than 170 payment methods including ACH, PayPal, and Bitcoin. If you would like to add a payment integration that’s not in our list, complete the request a new payment gateway integration process.
