It’s important to us that our clients are able to use the combination of gateways that makes the best business sense for them — in fact, giving our clients that freedom was a major factor inspiring Rebilly’s creation. If you don't see your gateway listed above, please let us know. We can typically complete a new payment gateway integration in 1-3 weeks at no cost to you.
Payment gateways and subscription billing software serve two different purposes. Payment gateways are responsible for transmitting payment requests on the payment processing platforms for approval from the issuing banks. Subscription billing software works with your gateway to help you manage the unique needs of recurring billing, like setting up your subscription billing plans, reducing churn, combatting chargebacks and fraud, subscription reporting, and more. Stripe really only handles credit card processing and the billing payment. They do handle recurring payments, but we needed a lot more than what they were able to offer. Because of the extensiveness of the subscriptions that we’re offering, and the way we offer them, we needed a robust system. Rebilly seemed to fit the bill, and it's working very well for us.
